UK/EU Radio Campaign
Two Options Available
OPTION 1: UK/EU Radio
Genres: Rock, Americana, Singer-Songwriter, Prog-Rock, Alternative, Jazz, Classical, Pop
Objective: This campaign is designed for bands/artists who are interested in pursuing a presence in the European and UK territories by targeting both regular rotation and specialist airplay at radio.
Countries: [UK] England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales [EU] Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Faroe Islands, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland
Length of Campaign: 8 Weeks
Campaign Details: Specialty shows are common across Europe and the UK. Specialty airplay is when a song is played on a specific show, usually encompassing a particular genre (ie. Rock Show to Jazz Show) that regularly scheduled throughout the day on various radio stations. The shows are found at traditional radio including regional & national stations, syndicated shows, university stations, and internet stations. Both commercial and community stations can have specialty shows. While not all of our campaign is specialist airplay, a large percentage is targeting programmers of specific shows, which are chosen based on the music. This means that it’s possible to get multiple shows at the same station to play the music. Promotion for this campaign is complex and in many cases, this requires contacting each specific programmer rather than one overall Music Director, which is the standard in places like the United States.
Additional Support: This campaign includes a 25K Spotify stream campaign, along with a list of social media links we have for radio stations in the UK/EU (this can be found on the google document you will be invited into. We will also do our best to book some radio interviews for you if you are available to do so. [Keep in mind the time differences.]
OPTION 2: UK Regional Radio
Genres: Mainstream, Pop, Alternative, Adult Contemporary Top 40
Objective: This campaign is designed for bands/artists who are further along in their presence in the UK and ready to take things to the next level. While it is VERY similar to Option 1, it is set up with a more comprehensive team with the intent to eventually go to larger stations. It is still a foundation campaign but better suited for artists who are invested in the UK market.
