A wise person once said, "Don't let other people's lack of decorum influence your professionalism." Take this to heart.
There are always going to be conflict in doing business with other humans but in the music industry, we see it even more so. The only way to deal with it is to be cool, calm, and collected and don't let it put you into a rage (despite how unfair you feel it is). DO NOT POST PUBLICLY and call a person out on social media. Even if you are in the right, this will make you look unstable and vindictive. Nobody wants to work with someone who might do that. It hurts you more than it hurts the other person, even if they did wrong.
If you find yourself in a situation then go about it professionally. Get documents in order and clearly outline your issues. Give the person a chance to fix it. If they do not or can not come up with a solution to your liking, then you have the option of legal action.
Remember, people don't want to do business with someone who can't conduct themselves professionally. We all have issues with someone at some point but how you deal with that is what makes you someone people will want to work with.
